Mark Order as Shipped

← All WonderLister user guides

Records that an order has been dispatched, and on what date. Doing it here rather than on eBay keeps
WonderLister and eBay in step.

No screenshot. The pictures in this guide are captured by driving the real application, and
this dialog can only be opened on an actual eBay order. The account the capture run signs in as has no
orders, so there is nothing for it to photograph. Everything the dialog contains is listed below.

Where to find it

Select the orders on Sales, then Mark as Shipped from the
toolbar. More than one order can be marked at a time.

What it asks

Field What it is
Shipped On The dispatch date. Pick it from the calendar or type it.
Save Records the dispatch.
Cancel Closes without recording anything.
This does not add a tracking number. They are two separate actions, and the tracking number
is the one the buyer actually sees. Follow this with
Enter Tracking Info.

Why the date matters

eBay measures your dispatch time against the handling time promised in the
shipping policy, and that feeds your seller standards. Enter the date the
parcel really went, not the date you got round to recording it.

FAQ

Q: Can I mark several orders shipped at once?
A: Yes. Select them all before opening the dialog; they take the same date.
Q: The buyer says they have no tracking number.
A: Marking shipped does not send one. Use
Enter Tracking Info.
Q: I entered the wrong date.
A: Run it again with the right one.
Q: Does eBay find out?
A: Yes — recording dispatch here is what keeps eBay’s record and yours the same.
