Compatibilities — eBay calls it fitment — is the list of vehicles a part fits.
It is what powers eBay Motors’ “will it fit my car?” search: a buyer enters their vehicle, and eBay shows
only parts whose compatibility list includes it. Without it, a car part is invisible to the search most
buyers actually use.
Where to find it
Open a listing in the editor and scroll to Compatibilities, or click it in the editor’s
left-hand section list.

Opens Enter KTypes. A K-Type is the European TecDoc vehicle identifier; if your parts data uses them, entering the numbers is far quicker than picking vehicles one at a time. |

How to use it
- Choose a category that supports fitment.
- Narrow the vehicle using the property pickers — make, then model, then years.
- Press Generate Compatibilities to expand that into individual vehicles.
- Or enter K-Types if your parts data has them.
- Add notes to any row that needs a qualifier.
- Save as Set if you will use the same list on other parts.
- Save, then save the listing.
