A KType is the German TecDoc number that identifies one exact vehicle variant. On European
eBay sites, entering KTypes is the quickest way to say what a part fits: one number does the work of a make,
model, year, engine and trim.
No screenshot. The dialog appears part-way through building a vehicle compatibility list,
which the capture run does not do. There is one box and two buttons; both are below.

Where to find it
- Open a listing’s Compatibilities section.
- Choose to enter KTypes.
The dialog is titled Enter KTypes.
What is on it
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| KTypes | A ten-line box. Type or paste the numbers separated by commas — the placeholder says Comma separated values. |
| Done | Reads the numbers and adds them to the listing’s compatibility list. |
| Cancel | Closes without adding anything. |
Commas, not new lines. The box is ten lines tall because a long list needs the room, but the
numbers are split on commas. A list one-per-line with no commas is read as a single value. Empty entries
between commas are ignored, so a trailing comma is harmless.
