Custom fields are your own columns — a supplier, a cost price, a bin number, a batch. This control
attaches them to one listing: you pick the field, type the value for this item, and it is added to the
listing as a card you can remove again.

Where to find it
In the listing editor’s Custom Fields section, and in the simple
editor.
What is on it
| Control | What it does |

| Select Custom Field | A dropdown of the custom fields you have defined. Choosing one reveals the two controls beside it. |
| Enter Custom Value | The value for this listing. Appears only once a field is chosen. |
| Select | Adds the field and value to the listing. |
| The cards below | One per field already on the listing, showing its name and value. |
| Remove | On each card. Takes that field off the listing. |
Adding the same field twice replaces the first value. A listing holds one value per custom
field, so choosing a field that is already on the listing and pressing Select updates it
rather than adding a duplicate card.

How to add a custom field to a listing
- Open Select Custom Field and click the field you want.
- Type this item’s value into Enter Custom Value.
- Click Select. A card appears below with the name and value.
- Repeat for any other fields.
- Save the listing.
