Records that a buyer has paid for an order. Use it when payment reached you outside eBay’s own checkout —
eBay records its own payments automatically.

Where to find it
Select the order on Sales, then Mark as Paid from the
toolbar.
What it asks
| Field | What it is |
|---|---|
| Payment method | How the buyer paid. The list is the methods eBay recognises. |
| Amount | How much was paid. Type a smaller figure than the order total to record a part payment. |
| Save | Records the payment. |
| Cancel | Closes without recording anything. |
This is a record of a payment, not a payment. Nothing is charged and no money moves. Marking
an order paid when it has not been paid will mislead you later, and the buyer too.

FAQ
Q: The order is already paid on eBay. Do I need this?
A: No. Payments taken through eBay arrive with the order. This is for payments taken

Q: Can I record a part payment?
A: Yes — type the amount actually received.
Q: Can I undo it?
A: Not from this dialog. Contact support if an order has been marked paid in error.
