Select Shipping Policy

← All WonderLister user guides

Select Shipping Policy chooses which of your eBay shipping policies this listing uses. The policies
themselves live on your eBay account — this control picks one, it does not create one.

No screenshot. This is a control inside the listing editor’s Shipping Policy section, not a screen of its own, and that
section is photographed whole in its own guide. Every part of the control is named below.

Where to find it

In a listing’s Shipping Policy section. The same control appears in the simple
editor and in bulk edit.

What is on it

Control What it does
Select Shipping Policy A single-choice dropdown listing each policy by its name.
The clear (×) Leaves the listing with no policy chosen, which eBay will refuse.
The list belongs to one account and one site. It is fetched for the account and site set in
Account & Site, and refetched when either changes. Until both are set
the dropdown is empty — that is the commonest reason for an empty policy list, and it is not a fault.

How to choose a policy

  1. Set the account and the site in Account & Site.
  2. Open the Select Shipping Policy dropdown.
  3. Click the policy this listing should use.
  4. Save the listing.

FAQ

Q: The dropdown is empty.
A: Either the account or the site is not set, or that account has no policies for
that site. Create one on Shipping Policies.
Q: I created a policy on eBay and it is not here.
A: The list is fetched from eBay. Reopen the listing, or refresh your profiles from
Refresh Profiles.
Q: I changed the site and the policy cleared.
A: Policies are per site. Choose one from the new site’s list.
Q: Can I set the services on the listing instead?
A: Yes — see
domestic and
international shipping services. A shipping policy and
per-listing services are alternatives, not additions.
