Enter Tracking Info

← All WonderLister user guides

Records the carrier and tracking number for one or more orders and passes them to eBay, which is what puts
the tracking link in front of the buyer.

No screenshot. The pictures in this guide are captured by driving the real application, and
this dialog can only be opened on an actual eBay order. The account the capture run signs in as has no
orders, so there is nothing for it to photograph. Everything the dialog contains is listed below.

Where to find it

Select the orders on Sales, then Enter Tracking Info from the
toolbar.

How it is laid out

One block per selected order, each showing that order’s title and line item id and its own tracking fields —
see Enter Tracking Info (one order) for what a block contains. At the
foot of the dialog:

Button What it does
Save Stores every block at once and sends the numbers on.
Cancel Closes without saving anything, including blocks you had filled in.
One Save for the whole dialog. Selecting twenty orders gives you twenty blocks and a single
Save. That makes it quick — and it means cancelling discards all of them, so save before you close.

How to use it

  1. Mark the orders shipped first, with Mark as
    Shipped
    .
  2. Select the same orders and open Enter Tracking Info.
  3. Fill in the number and carrier in each block.
  4. Press Save.

FAQ

Q: Do I have to mark the order shipped first?
A: They are separate actions and either can be done first, but shipped-then-tracking
is the order the buyer expects to see.
Q: The buyer cannot track the parcel.
A: Check that the carrier is filled in as well as the number, and check the number
for typos.
Q: Can I paste numbers in from a spreadsheet?
A: Not into this dialog. For large volumes, ask support about the CSV routes.
Q: I filled in ten blocks and pressed Cancel.
A: They are gone — Cancel discards the whole dialog.
