When you bulk-edit listings and want to set a business policy across all of them, this dialog is how you
choose the policy. It shows your payment, shipping or return policies for one eBay account and site, and
hands back the one you pick.

Where to find it
The dialog is titled Select Profile.
What is on it
| Control | What it does |

| Profile Type | Payment, Shipping or Return. It is greyed out when the screen that opened the dialog has already decided which kind you are setting. |
| Select Account | Whose policies to show. |
| Select Site | Which site’s policies to show. Policies are held per account and per site. |
| Show | Fetches the policies. Nothing is listed until you press it. |
| The table | The policies for that type, account and site. Click a row to choose one. |
| Select | Takes the highlighted policy. With none chosen it answers Please select a policy. |
Show is a separate step, and it is the one people miss. Changing the type, the account or
the site does not refill the table by itself — press Show after every change, or you
are looking at the previous answer.

How to set a policy across many listings
- Select the listings and open Bulk Edit.
- Choose to set a business policy. Select Profile opens.
- Choose the Profile Type, if it is not decided for you.
- Choose the account and the site.
- Click Show.
- Click the policy’s row, then Select.
- Finish the bulk edit. The change is queued — watch Activity Logs.
FAQ
Q: The table is empty after pressing Show.
A: That account has no policies of that type for that site. Create one on
Payment, Shipping or
Return Policies.

Q: Profile Type is greyed out.
A: The bulk edit already decided which kind of policy you are setting.
Q: Can I set all three at once?
A: One at a time. Run the bulk edit again for the next type.
Q: Will this apply to listings on a different site?
A: A policy belongs to one site. Applying it to listings on another site is not
something eBay will accept — bulk-edit those separately.
