Where to find it

The two that are always there
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Listing Type | Auction or Fixed Price. Everything below changes with this choice, so make it first. |
| Currency | The currency of the prices. It comes from the site’s list. |
Fixed Price
| Field | What it is |
|---|---|
| Price | What the item sells for. |
| VAT % | The VAT rate, where the marketplace uses one. It can be hidden from Customize Editor. |
| Quantity Available | How many you have to sell. |
| Duration | How long the listing runs, from eBay’s list for the format and category. |
| Original Retail Price | The price to strike through, where eBay shows a comparison. |
| Quantity Sold | How many have sold. Read this rather than type it. |
Auction
| Field | What it is |
|---|---|
| Start Price | Where the bidding opens. |
| BIN Price | Buy It Now — what a buyer can pay to end the auction at once. eBay only offers it above a margin over the start price. |
| Reserve Price | The least you will accept. eBay charges for a reserve on most sites. |
| VAT % | As above, and hideable in the same place. |
| Quantity Available | Usually one for an auction. |
| Duration | How many days the auction runs. |
The price can be locked on an active listing. With do not update price on eBay set
in Preferences, the price field is disabled on any listing that is
Active — a deliberate guard against a bulk change repricing live items. Clear the
preference if you mean to reprice.

Q: Should I use a reserve or a start price?
A: A start price at the least you will accept costs nothing; a reserve costs a fee
