Manage Energy Efficiency Labels

← All WonderLister user guides

An energy efficiency label record is a pair of pictures: the EU energy label itself, and the
product information sheet that goes with it. Certain durable goods sold in Germany must carry both. You
upload them once here and attach the record to the listings it belongs to.

No screenshot. This screen is opened from the settings drawer’s GPSR menu, and the capture run
photographs routed pages and the dialogs a page toolbar opens rather than ones behind a menu.
Everything on it is named below, in the order it appears on screen.

Where to find it

  1. Click Settings on the top bar. The settings drawer opens.
  2. Click GPSR, then Energy Efficiency Labels in the menu that drops down.

The same screen is a section of the settings page, under Energy Efficiency Labels in its left-hand list, and
the Manage link inside the matching block of a listing’s
General Product Safety Regulations section opens it too.

The columns

Column What it holds
Label Id Our identifier. A listing stores this.

Image Url Where the label picture ended up after upload.
Product Information Sheet Url Where the information sheet ended up.

How to add a label

  1. Click Add.
  2. Type a Description you will recognise later.
  3. Upload the label image, and then the product information sheet.
  4. Click Save. The screen reports Label successfully saved.

How to change or remove one

  1. Click the row to select it.
  2. Click Edit to open it, or Delete and answer Yes, I’m sure to the question that names the description.
The two urls are filled in by uploading, not by typing. The pictures are sent to eBay as
they are uploaded, and the address eBay gives back is what the columns show. There is no field to paste a
url into.

FAQ

Q: Do I need this?
A: Only for the product groups that carry an EU energy label — white goods,
televisions, lighting and the like — and it is the German marketplace that enforces it hardest.
Q: Where do I get the pictures?
A: From the manufacturer. They publish both the label and the information sheet for
each model.
Q: One record per model?
A: Yes. The label states that model’s rating, so it cannot be shared across
models.
Q: How does it reach a listing?
A: Choose it in Select Energy Efficiency
Label
in the listing’s GPSR section.
