Select Energy Efficiency Label

← All WonderLister user guides

The Select Energy Efficiency Label block attaches an EU energy label and its product
information sheet to the listing. It offers the label records you have already uploaded, listed by their
description.

No screenshot. This is a block inside the listing editor’s
General Product Safety Regulations section rather than a screen of its own, and
the section is photographed whole in that guide. Every control in the block is named below.

Where to find it

In a listing’s General Product Safety Regulations section, in the Energy
Efficiency Label
block.

The block states the rule it exists for: under the Digital Services Act, sellers listing products in
Germany (DE) must provide energy efficiency label information and product information
sheets for certain durable goods.

What is on it

Control What it does
Select EnergyEfficiencyLabel A single-choice dropdown listing each record’s Description.
The clear (×) Leaves the listing with no label.

Manage and Refresh

Control What it does
Manage Opens Manage Energy Efficiency Labels in a dialog, without leaving the listing. Close it and the list here is reloaded, so a record you have just created is immediately choosable.
Refresh Fetches the list again. Use it when a record was added somewhere else — another tab, the desktop application, a colleague’s machine.
Choosing here does not save the listing. The choice is held on the listing in front of you;
it reaches eBay when you save it.

How to attach a label

  1. Open the Select EnergyEfficiencyLabel dropdown.
  2. Click the record for this model.
  3. Save the listing.

FAQ

Q: Do all my listings need one?
A: No — only the product groups that carry an EU energy label, and it is the
German marketplace that requires it.
Q: The dropdown is empty.
A: No label records exist yet. Click Manage and upload the label
and the information sheet.
Q: Can I use one label on several listings?
A: On listings for the same model, yes. The label states that model’s rating, so it
should not be shared across models.
Q: The entries have no names.
A: The dropdown shows the description. Give each record one on
Manage Energy Efficiency Labels.
