When you duplicate a listing template or a Listing, by default, the duplicated copy is identical to the original. But it is possible to specify certain fields that should not be carried over to duplicated item. To do that,
Click on the menu option:
Tools > Options > Preferences
A new view will open on the right hand side.
Click on the tab "Listing Preferences"
The highlighted area is where you can specify what not to duplicate.
