NOTE: This documentation details the steps after you have chosen thesecond option in Step 3 of the Initial Setup documentation and need to connect to an existing SQL Server that was previously installed on a network computer.
The second option in Step 3 of the Initial Setup refers to the following screen
Step 1:
To connect to an existing network SQL Server instance you will need to fill out the following information
The networkComputer's Name
The default value will be the current computer's name, you will have to change this to the name of the computer you wish to connect too. This computer must be on the same network as the computer you are currently operating.
The Instance Name you are trying to connect too
You must select SQLServer Authentication to connect to your network server.
Enter the User Name and Password for the server
TIP: If you used Wonder Lister to set up your network server, the default user name is sa and the password is your Wonder Lister User ID that you created when registering plus an exclamation sign. For example, if you registered with a User ID of Steve, then your password is Steve!. Password's are case sensitive so make sure you enter it exactly as you set it.
Click Next to connect to the local server

Step 2:
SelectUse an existing databaseand pick the Database you wish to connect too from the drop down menu
NOTE: If you have not set up a Database previously within this Instance, you may create a new one by selecting the Create a new databaseoption and entering a name for the Database.
Click Next to connect to this Database
Wonder Lister is now connected to the database on your network computer.
