Select Listing Template is a dropdown that picks one of your listing templates by name. It
is a component the product carries but does not currently open anywhere — no screen shows it,
and it has deliberately been given no address of its own.

No screenshot, and nothing to photograph. Nothing in the application shows this control at
present. It was once reachable by address; that was removed on purpose, because a dropdown built by the
router has none of the parameters the owning screen would supply, and the first use of one closed the
desktop application. Documenting a screen that cannot be opened would be documenting an application that
does not exist — so what follows is what to use instead.

Create listings from templates Select the templates on Listing Templates and use the toolbar’s create action. The work is queued and reported in Activity Logs.

How to create listings from a template

  1. Open Listing Templates.
  2. Select the template rows you want to create listings from.
  3. Use the toolbar action that creates listings from the selection.
  4. The screen answers that the request was submitted; watch Activity Logs for the result.

FAQ

Q: I was sent here by a link and there is nothing to see.
A: That is right — the control is not shown anywhere at the moment. Use
Listing Templates.
Q: Will it come back?
A: It exists in the product and could be shown by a screen that supplies its
parameters. Nothing does today.
Q: What is a listing template?
A: A saved listing you create new listings from, so the common fields are filled in
already. See Listing Templates.
