Select Description Template

← All WonderLister user guides

Select Description Template chooses which of your description templates a listing’s
description is built from. The template holds the layout and the tags; the listing supplies the values.

No screenshot. This is a control inside the listing editor’s Main Details section, not a screen of its own, and that
section is photographed whole in its own guide. Every part of the control is named below.

Where to find it

In the listing editor’s Main Details section, and in the simple editor’s
description section.

What is on it

Control What it does
Select Description Template A single-choice dropdown listing each template by its title.
The clear (×) Leaves the listing with no template, so the description is used as you typed it.
The template is applied when the description is built, not when you choose it. Changing the
template on a listing does not rewrite what is already in the description box; it changes what the listing is
rendered into when it goes to eBay.

How to choose one

  1. Open the Select Description Template dropdown.
  2. Click the template you want.
  3. Save the listing.
