Reply to eBay Buyer Questions From Your Browser

A question left sitting is a sale left sitting — and eBay is counting.

Select a listing, open its questions, and reply. The answer goes to the member through eBay, exactly as it would if you had used eBay directly.

• Every question on the listing, together. Open a listing’s questions and the whole conversation history for that item is in front of you.

• You always know which item. The heading carries the item title and its eBay item number, so there is no doubt which listing you are answering about.

• Reply where you work. Pick the message, write the answer, send. No switching to Seller Hub and finding the item again.

• It counts towards your seller standards. eBay watches how quickly sellers reply to member questions, so this is worth a routine check rather than a look when you happen to notice one.

Note that this is questions about a listing. Messaging a buyer about an order they have already placed is a separate thing, done from the Sales page. And questions are answered one at a time — each one deserves its own reply.
