Responsible Person Editor

← All WonderLister user guides

The Responsible Person Editor is the form behind Add and
Edit on Manage Responsible Persons. It records
the name and contact address of the business inside the EU that answers for the product.

No screenshot. This dialog is opened from a screen the capture run cannot reach, Manage Responsible Persons, and the capture run
photographs routed pages and the dialogs a page toolbar opens rather than ones behind a menu.
Everything on it is named below, in the order it appears on screen.

Where to find it

Open Manage Responsible Persons and click Add,
or select a row and click Edit.

The fields

Field What it is
Company Name The registered name. This is the only field the editor insists on, and it is the name the picker on a listing shows you, so write it as it should appear to a buyer.
Address Line 1 Street and number.
Address Line 2 The rest of the street address, where there is any.
City Town or city.
State/Province State, province or county.
Zip / Postal Code Postcode.
Select Country Chosen from the country list, not typed.
Telephone A contact number.
Email A contact address.

Save and Cancel

Save validates and closes; the screen underneath writes the record and reports
Responsible Person successfully saved. Cancel abandons the dialog.

Company Name is the only required field, and it is the text the picker on a listing shows.
Name the record so you can recognise it in a dropdown — the importer’s trading name, not
“Responsible person 2”.

How to fill it in

  1. Type the Company Name of the EU-based business.
  2. Enter its address across Address Line 1, Address Line 2, City, State/Province and Zip / Postal Code.
  3. Choose the country in Select Country — an EU member state, or Northern Ireland’s, for this to serve its purpose.
  4. Give a working Telephone and Email.
  5. Click Save.

FAQ

Q: Save refuses.
A: The message at the top of the dialog says Company name must be entered.
Nothing else is enforced here.
Q: Can I enter a person rather than a company?
A: Put their name in Company Name. The field is the label the
listing shows, whatever kind of entity it names.
Q: Can one record serve several products?
A: Yes — most sellers have one importer for everything they bring in.
